Making an appointment with your doctor

If you have a life-threatening condition please call an ambulance on 000.

Consultations with your doctor are by appointment only, however your doctor will make every effort to accommodate unexpected or urgent situations.

The doctors consulting from Premium Care Medical Practice generally offer  10-15 minutes appointments. If you need more time to discuss multiple issues or other family members need to be seen, please let reception know so you can book longer or separate appointments with your doctor.

Same day appointments with your doctor are usually available.

Reception staff are not able to provide  test results over the telephone.

New patients

All new patients are welcomed by the doctors. Your doctor requires that you download and fill the new patient registration form before your first appointment. Let reception know if you have multiple medical issues so they can book appropriate consultation times with your doctor.

Fees and payments:

The doctors we support set their own fees for consultations.

Your doctor will require you to pay your full fee at the time of the consultation. Reception will be happy to submit your account to Medicare on behalf of your doctor, for your rebate to be processed, at the time of payment. Please present any concession cards to reception.

Complaints:  If you would like to make a complaint about Premium Care Medical Practice or your doctor, please speak to your doctor or the Practice Manager. In case you would like to make a serious complaint about the medical care you have received from your doctor, please contact the health complaints commissioner on 1800 232 007. Suggestions and Survey We welcome all suggestions for improvement to our services and facilities. Please feel free to discuss with reception, the practice manager, or your doctor, or complete the online survey forms Accreditation by AGPAL/RACGP Guidelines Premium Care Medical Practice  are accredited by AGPAL, with current guidelines from the Royal College of General Practitioners (RACGP). AGPAL accreditation is a broad and rigorous review of the safety and quality of the practice.
